Policies


Cancellation Policy:

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and the clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Appointments are confirmed by each individual stylist at least 24 hours in advance as a courtesy because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment that was made months in advance. Since these services are reserved for you personally, any appointment that is not cancelled within 24 hours of the service will be subject to a fee of 50% of their service or how your stylist sees fit. No Call, No show appointments will be charged 100% of their service.


Form Of Payment:

Salon Lux accepts all major credit cards, cash or check. Any returned check will be subject to a charge of $25 in addition to the amount of the transaction paid in cash only.


PETS:

The state board of cosmetology and the board of consumer affairs have specific rules and regulations stating that no animals are allowed in a salon at any time. Service dogs with official “service animal” vests are the only exception to this rule.


Specialty Services Policy:

The staff at Salon Lux is honored to offer a number of specialty services such as the renowned Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment, Brazilian blowouts and a variety of Extensions. These services often require a great deal of time compared to other services offered in the salon. Therefore any service that requires more than 2 hours or is valued at over $200.00 will require a deposit to book. If you are unable to give 24 hours’ notice when cancelling an appointment for one of these services your deposit will be NON- REFUNABLE. The remaining 50% will be due when you are able reschedule your appointment.
